Before leaving on vacation, the Adcox family took a winter hike up Mt. Newton, a large hill outside of town known for good snow boarding. We didn’t snow board, but we did travel with a large plastic sled. The boys did great! Archer slept most of the way up the hill, while Justice hiked without help the whole distance up the hill. About half way up he became aware that the snow he was hiking on was also pretty tasty, as he repeatedly collapsed in the snow and began eating it using only his face (his gloved hands were useless). After reaching our summit, the whole family climbed in the sled and sailed down the hill at a speed we all loved. Even Archer seemed to enjoy the ride. We were able to steer the sled within ten feet from our car. Days like this make me miss winter in the summertime.
