Frankenstien’s Monster

For as long as I can remember I have always loved the Halloween Season!   Recently we’ve been trying on costumes, decorating our home, and last night I cut into our pumpkin. Inspired by an artist named Ray Villafane, whom I saw on MSN, I decided to try my hand at sculpting a pumpkin this year, rather than carving it.  This was a fun challenge for me, as I can’t remember the last time I’ve sculpted anything other then a pinch pot in sixth grade.  Pushing up my sleeves I chiseled away long into the night. (approx. 5hours)  I just wanted to share with you the results of my hardache and pain.  It supposed to be Frankensien’s monster.

  1. Wow – we are all amazed. The sculpting looks soo real. All the kids love it too. Our oldest said wow look at the raised eyebrow and all the wrinkles. Nice job guys!!

  2. All we can say is. . .AMAZING!! It’ll be sad to see it all wilt away (given time); this is one jack-o-lantern that should be bronzed! then you could display it every year for Halloween 🙂
