Excuse us for some delayed blogging. As any Alaskan will tell you, the season of Autumn is almost nonexistent. This year however it managed to linger a bit longer, or at the very least it took till almost mid November for us to see any significant snowfall. Some may classify this time of year as wet and miserable, but there are also many redeeming qualities to note. Qualities such as NO mosquitoes, frozen ground rather than muddy, some berries, and a lot of wildlife- in short, great hiking weather! Here are some outings we took during our Fall. Take note of Justices’ minnows he caught in the white bucket. He was so determined to catch them that he fell in Johnson lake, thus the makeshift hoodie outfit he is wearing.
