Let me tell you, everyone needs a little Disney in their life? Known as “The Happiest Place on Earth” and by golly they might just be right. The Christmas of 2013 was one for the memory books as the whole “V” family converged at Disneyland for a quick action packed, fun filled 5 day adventure.
The whole family, which included 15 of us total! Can you tell who loved Mickey the most?
We all rode as many rides as we could.
We tried to meet as many characters as we could. Justice and Archer thought the Storm Trooper was the coolest. Before we left Archer was most excited about Star Wars ride and Tron. Turns out there is no Tron ride and after standing in line, Archer did not meet the height requirement for the Star Wars ride. Thankfully, he had no idea what had happened, so there were no tears. When we left Archer said his favorite ride was Star Wars, Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribean. Thanks for saving the day Storm Trooper!
We played as many games as we could. This game all the cousins competed against each other and Dirk won!
Archer’s current favorite movie is Sleeping Beauty, so as a surprise to the boys we took them to the Bippity Boppity Boutique. Here they dawned a shiny sword, a magical shield, had their hair spiked and colored, and were officially knighted.
Drove off to Laguna Beach for the day to play in the sand and swim in the ocean. Temperatures stayed in the 80’s our whole trip. Justice said this was his favorite day of the trip!
The boys were blessed to have quality time to spend with their cousins.
We wore those boys out everyday, and they handled it quite well. This picture was the night they all slept in Gma and Gpa’s room, so the parents could have a little fun in Disneyland.
My Mom and Dad, in memory of my Grandma made all of this possible. Thank you so much for seriously, the best trip of my life. What made this present so wonderful is that happiness is real when it is shared. This Christmas we were all together, which is rare, but the memories we were able to share were priceless. This will go down in history as the happiest Christmas ever!
Oh and thank you Disney!
Christmas of 2013!
